this is the oldest thing in my house. it is 19 years old on 2010. why do i want to story about this fridge? let me tell you. :)
1. my parent bought it using mom's dowry. they use it just to avoid having debt. as we know, debt is something harsh for someone with low income & this can makes one in stress. my mother makes a wise decision to use cash other than loan. debt trouble ourself, so if we can, avoid it wisely. :)
2. my mom was about to give birth to me when she hold it 18 years back. on that peaceful 9 february, they move to Bangsar from a small room at Chow Kit. it was so hard back then. i was born on the day they got a house & it became a responsibility for me to take care of this treasure for them. :)
3. this fridge was a wall of creativity for my siblings. we used to stamp a pokemon, digimon & etc. stickers to it. we also did place magnetic accessories to it. this behaviour became a serious hobby when we practice it to the wall. its like a caricature but it more to draw a few graphic & now, its called vandalisme. :)
4. i used to compare my height to this short yet useful fridge. this comparison makes me wanted to eat more, to became a taller person, taller than this small fridge. now, i am 172 cm. credits to the fridge. but then, i am not as wide as the fridge. it takes a long time & sweat to beat the fridge. :P
5. i did hide my chocolates, sweets or ice - cream in it. i love to eat them & i did have 'spoiled' tooth when i was such a innocent & lovely kid. it was a long time ago as the other siblings keep hunting for my sweets during that era. i am not being a stingy brother but i wanted to teach them, how to use our coins wisely. :P they should thank their eldest brother now because their savings is such a 'wow' factor as we will react that way when we look at their account book.
